Why RISE? I joined RISE because I wanted to be able to act in a tangible way on some of the complex social issues we think a lot about and that are concerns for our communities’ future. I specifically wanted to learn more about the smaller-scale challenges my city faces with regards to these issues – such as sustainable planning and housing -- and am looking forward to creating meaningful solutions while getting to know new people!
